Pricing FAQ

Do planning fees include pyramid tickets?

No. Our fees cover research and PDF delivery only. You purchase Antiquities tickets at the gate or through authorised kiosks. Each tier includes an EGP budget table estimating ticket and transport costs for your party size.

Can I upgrade tiers after booking?

Yes. Pay the difference before we release your file. Upgrades from Plateau Explorer to Sphinx Scholar within twelve hours of intake are processed same day at no rush fee.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer to our Egyptian business account, InstaPay, and PayPal for international clients. Invoices list ETA tax ID 764-293-518. Payment must clear before PDF delivery.

Is the Pyramid Coordinator tier worth it for solo travellers?

Solo visitors with one plateau day usually choose Sphinx Scholar. Coordinator tier suits families needing interior suitability reviews, guide referral, cruise timing and morning-of SMS updates.

Do you refund if my flight is cancelled?

Full refund if you notify us before research begins. After PDF delivery, we offer one free date revision within six months or fifty percent credit toward a future trip.

Are prices per person or per party?

Flat per party up to six travellers on one planning file. Groups of seven to twenty add EGP 120 per additional person for queue and ticket counter strategy. Above twenty requires custom quote.

Do you charge VAT on planning fees?

Our ETA registration includes applicable VAT on consultancy services. Invoices show tax breakdown for corporate clients requiring reimbursement documentation.

Sample one-day budget (two adults, foreign tickets)

Plateau entry 2×540 = EGP 1080. Khufu interior 2×900 = EGP 1800 if both enter. Solar Boat 2×180 = EGP 360. Cairo–Giza taxi return EGP 320–440. Licensed half-day guide EGP 800–1200 paid direct. Lunch and water EGP 200–350. Total excluding our planning fee: roughly EGP 4560–5030 for a full-feature day—more if GEM added (2×600–1200).

Plateau Explorer tier suits parties skipping interior and GEM. Sphinx Scholar fits one interior plus Solar Boat. Coordinator fits families wanting guide referral and morning quota SMS when December queues threaten sell-out by 9:30.

Student and child discounts exist at Egyptian-national pricing only—foreign student ISIC cards do not automatically reduce Antiquities foreign counters; verify at kiosk.

When to choose each tier

First Cairo visit with one Giza day and moderate fitness: Sphinx Scholar balances cost and depth. Repeat visitors who know plateau layout and only need updated EGP figures: Plateau Explorer. Families with teens, cruise six-hour windows, or anyone wanting guide vetting: Pyramid Coordinator. Interior-only questions without full plan: email us—a single-service quote may suffice.

Currency note

Planning fees quoted in EGP. PayPal invoices may show USD equivalent at processor exchange rate on payment day. Antiquities tickets always paid in EGP at gate— carry cash backup even if card signs posted.

Group and corporate billing

Universities and travel clubs may request pro-forma invoice before institutional transfer— allow three extra business days. VAT breakdown available for Egyptian corporate registrants with tax ID on file.

Gift planning files: purchase any tier specifying recipient email in contact message— we send directly with your name on cover letter if requested.

Repeat clients within twelve months receive ten percent loyalty reduction on second planning file— mention prior invoice number in contact form.

All tiers include VAT where applicable on our consultancy invoice— gate ticket VAT handled separately by Antiquities at point of sale.
